Audio: The Don Geronimo Show - October 7, 2011

Today, Don begins with a new promo that Noodles made for Dave's midday show, involving Dave's long-winded, drawn out questions that he asks during interviews. The guys then discuss the "Occupy Sacramento" movement at Caesar Chavez Park, which only has about 9 people. Don then tells the story of how he got his car back from the mechanic yesterday, only to find that his AM radio wasn't working, and had to go back to get it fixed. Don then tells us about a fetish website called clips4sale.com that wants permission from NBC to use the Nancy Grace "fart" tape. Don goes through the website and finds an array of bizarre fetishes that apparently people are into. We also hear about Sharon Osbourne's leaky breast implant, and the sale of Steve Jobs' costumes have gone up 100%.

Joe Ardinger is already very close to finding a place to live in Sacramento, he just needs to find an apartment that will allow dogs. Don then tells us that his little dog Butterbean is still sick, but is toughing it out. We then hear a corny morning show parody song of Kiss' "Rock And Roll All Nite," which Don likes so much for its lameness that he decides to play it numerous times throughout the morning. We also hear about Wayne Newton's own version of "Twitty City" in which he's planning on turning his Vegas mansion into a museum.

We then get a visit from Don's old buddy, NFL great and NFL Network analyst Joe Theismann, who talks about the NFL games this weekend, being a young quarterback competing for a job with Sonny Jurgensen and Billy Kilmer, and even comes up with a new x's and o's play for Craig to draw up. Next up is loyal listener and local lesbian Leanne Walker, who talks about life from a lesbian's perspective, and even gets the Hot Seat quiz from Don.

After hearing a trailer for the new Beavis and Butthead episodes that are returning to MTV, Don gets a visit from FOX NFL analyst and former coach Jim Mora Jr, who talks about how he has more time for his family now that he's in broadcasting and not coaching anymore. he also talks about Frank Gore's comments about the Philadelphia Eagles "quitting" on the 49ers last week. The guys then pick the NFL games for this weekend. Don then reads a sex survey done by KY on how much freakier women are than men, and calls the Dept. of Sexual Health.

After another edition of "Foreign or Domestic," and PSA from the 70's on prejudice, it's time for the "Phantom News Hour." Among the stories today, Ashton Kutcher's mistress, Sarah Leal, the new Terminal B at the Sacramento Airport, "Occupy Wall St." has spread across the country, and the Martin Scorcese movie on HBO about George Harrison. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
