Audio: The Don Geronimo Show - October 24, 2011

Today Don begins with a recap of his weekend, in which he now has Janet paranoid that he's recording everything in "Stealth mode" with his phone. We also hear about the "Hunk" Janet took a picture of for LaRoy, and the Halloween parties in his neighborhood, where really bad karaoke was taking place, and Don tells us why he always gives out full size candy bars to kids instead of the fun size. Dave then tells us about his weekend, where apparently there was a shooting in his neighborhood. Dave plays us the recording he made with his phone of him cowering under the bed while police helicopters flew over his house.

Don then calls KFC's in England to see if he can make a reservation like John Travolta did last week, but not before he shows the guys a nasty video from jarsquatters.com. Dave takes a video of Joe watching it and posts it on Facebook. Don then tells us the the top 5 sexual fantasies, according to Belinda Banks of Astroglide. After playing a clip of a hacker calling an Alabama Sheriff's Dept. to notify them of his crime, an anchor from Good Day Dallas saying that Kim Kardashian is not a celebrity, and Charlie Sheen's take on 2 And A Half Men, Don tells us that Piper Laurie (the mom in Carrie) in her new autobiography claims she lost her virginity to Ronald Reagan. This gets the guys on a tangent about their favorite Stephen King movies, including Cat's Eye, which is the movie that has a man's wife getting electrocuted every time he smokes a cigarette. Don finds a clip from the movie.

The guys discuss the NFL games yesterday, including Aaron Rodgers' dominating performance for Green Bay, DeMarco Murray's performance for Dallas, and how badly the Cleveland game sucked. It's then time to play another round of "Stump The Stoop." This time, the year is 1976. During the game, we find out that Don can actually name the songs after hearing a split second of it! After a discussion of the greatest "B-side" songs of all time, it's time for the "Phantom News Hour." Among the topics today, Obama's 3 day tour promoting his Jobs Act, the author of the Steve Jobs biography on 60 minutes last night, and Paranormal Activity 3 having the biggest box office opening for a horror movie ever. And of course, Don wraps everything up with a caller 100!
