On today's show Dave started by talking about the comments made the night before by Bryant Gumbel regarding the the NBA lockout and commissioner David Stern. The phone lines were lit up for the full 3 hours of the show as Dave took your calls and let you voice your opinions on the situation.

In between t he calls we had Brian Schodorf, the director of "The Wayman Tisdale Story" which chronicles the life of jazz musician and former Sacramento Kings play Wayman Tisdale. They discussed what it was like to follow Wayman around in the years leading up to his death, how the movie is about over coming the odds and the redemption that comes with it. SI.com's Sam Amick joined us to talk about the NBA lockout and what we can take from the recent negotiations, as well as his take on the Bryant Gumbel situation. He touched on if he thinks there will be games played before Christmas, and what the fans should expect to see next.
