Auburn Police Catch Suspected Burglar Inside Store

AUBURN (CBS13) – An Auburn man has been arrested after police caught him burglarizing a store, according to the Auburn Police Department.

The department says officers arrested 31-year-old Kevin Stovall Jr. early Tuesday morning after a burglary alarm went off at a business in the 600 block of Auburn Folsom Road.

When officers arrived, they found the front door ajar and a security gate open. They saw a man inside the business gathering up items and carrying them around the store.

The officers moved in arrested the man, who was later identified as Stovall.

Stovall has been booked in the Placer County Jail on burglary charges. His bail is set at $185,000.
