Arrest Made In Shooting Death Of Stockton Teenager

STOCKTON (CBS13) – Detectives from the Stockton Police department have arrested a man in connection with the shooting death of an 18-year-old earlier this week.

Stockton detectives with help from the U.S. Marshal's Task Force arrested 18-year-old Elazer Black at a Tracy motel on Thursday night.

Black is the suspect in the shooting death of 18-year-old Manuel Roybal on Tuesday afternoon in Stockton.

Roybal was allegedly shot while sitting in a car in the 5800 block of Kermit Lane. He was taken to the hospital by friends where he later died.

Black has been booked into the San Joaquin County Jail for homicide.
