Deputies Looking For Missing Yuba County Foothills Man

YUBA COUNTY (CBS13) — A Yuba County foothills resident has been missing since last Friday afternoon, and the sheriff's department is asking the public's assistance in locating him.

Leslie Scott Jones, 44, of Browns Valley was last seen leaving his residence on foot at about 2 p.m. Friday. He was believed to be heading to an unknown location in Marysville.

Jones is known to hitchhike frequently throughout the area, according to Sheriff Steve Durfor. Jones described as white, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 160 pound, with straight, collar-length blonde hair, a thin mustache and goatee.
