5 People Found Shot In Fresno Shopping Center Parking Lot

FRESNO, Calif. (AP) -- Authorities are investigating a shooting that left five people with gunshot wounds.

KFSN reports Thursday that the shooting occurred about 6 p.m. Wednesday outside a southwest Fresno shopping center and just blocks from Edison High School. No one has been arrested and a motive in the shooting was not yet known.

Two of the victims are teenagers. All the victims are expected to survive.

Fresno police Lt. Dave Ramos says there was a large group of people in a parking lot when a disturbance happened and a group of gunmen opened fire.

Ramos says a preliminary investigation shows the shooting was not random.

Police have not yet released descriptions of the suspects. Investigators believe a man who drove away from the crime scene in an SUV may have been involved.
