2 Small Earthquakes Rumble Yolo County
WOODLAND (CBS13) — Two small earthquakes shook Yolo County near Woodland on Thursday.
The first was a magnitude-3.1 near Cottonwood, west of Woodland at around 3:49 p.m. The second one, a magnitude-2.5, struck three minutes later.
Due to the small size of the quakes, damage is highly unlikely, but residents thinking it may have been something they ate will be relieved to know that shaking sensation was an earthquake.
