2 Men Facing Murder Charges For Shooting Of Sacramento Woman
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Two men have been arrested for the 2015 murder of a North Sacramento woman.
The Sacramento Police Department says 50-year-old Stacy Norman was shot and killed in her 2700 block of Rio Linda Boulevard apartment in June 2015. Norman was not the intended target of the shooting, investigators say.
Detectives later identified two men, 39-year-old Laurencio Quintero and 22-year-old Richard Gutierrez, as the suspects in the shooting. The two had already been arrested on July 9, 2015 on unrelated charges and had been in jail since that time.
Thursday, the district attorney's office added murder to the list of charges Quintero and Gutierrez are facing.
The motive for the shooting remains unclear, detectives say.
