Man Allegedly Attacks Woman In Restroom At Stockton Airport

STOCKTON (CBS13) - A 34-year-old man is under arrest and accused of assaulting a woman in a restroom.

Officers say Leonel Sousa hid in the women's restroom at the Stockton Airport.

When a woman entered the bathroom, Sousa allegedly grabbed her by the arm, and she screamed.

Hearing her screams, the woman's husband ran into the bathroom and engaged in a physical altercation with Sousa.

Another female victim reported she had been sitting on a bench earlier when Sousa approached her.

The 25-year-old woman tried to leave, at which point he lifted up her dress.

Sousa was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on charges of battery and criminal threat.
