Stockton Police Investigating City's 29th Homicide This Year
STOCKTON (CBS13) - Stockton police are investigating the city's 29th homicide of the year after a man was shot in broad daylight Tuesday.
The shooting happened at a playground in the Westin Ranch neighborhood in the 4500 block of Woodchase Lane.
Detectives say the 23-year-old man was shot at least once in the face while sitting on a bench at Henry Long Park.
He was rushed to the hospital where he later died.
Crime scene tape surrounded the playground as police searched for the shooter.
