The footprint takes up Point State Park in Downtown Pittsburgh and part of the North Shore, with the two sites separated by a river.

PRT says there will be extra frequency and capacity on some routes, and four limited-stop draft routes will run from the north, south, east and west. The light rail, colloquially called "the T" by Pittsburghers, will also increase service between Downtown and the North Shore during peak hours.

If you plan on taking public transit, the map below breaks it down. It was also against the Penguins, an 8-5 win for Pittsburgh despite Sean Couturier's five-point game on a torn MCL.

This is the eighth time the Flyers and Penguins have faced off in the NHL playoffs. The Flyers are 4-3 all-time against the Penguins in the postseason but 1-3 in their last four postseason series vs. Pittsburgh.

Before tonight's Game 3, here are some numbers to know.

The away team has won seven straight postseason games between the two clubs.

In Stanley Cup Playoffs history, teams that take a 2-0 lead in a best-of-seven series have won 86% of the time.

The Flyers are 18-0 in franchise history when they have a 2-0 lead; the 2-0 series lead is the Flyers' first since 2012, also against Pittsburgh.

This is the third time the Flyers have taken a 2-0 series lead over the Pens in their eight postseason series. They took a 2-0 lead over the Pens in the conference quarterfinals in 1997 and 2012. They won both series 4-1 and 4-2, respectively.

The Penguins are 5-8 all-time when they're down 0-2 in a best-of-seven series and 1-2 in such series when they've had home-ice advantage.

Porter Martone, by the numbers

As former Flyers goalie Brian Boucher said on the TV broadcast after Game 2, "stars are born in the playoffs." One of the breakout players thus far is 19-year-old Porter Martone, who made history in the Flyers' Game 2 win. "Probably 60 to 70% of our students either had been logged in and kicked off or hadn't been able to get logged in at all."

She said what followed was about 45 minutes of chaos. The district then continued testing.

Spokespeople from other districts in the region, including Pittsburgh Public Schools and the Seneca Valley School District, said they also continued with their scheduled exams, while other districts said they postponed testing until Wednesday.

In a statement to KDKA, the Pennsylvania Department of Education said there was a "technical issue with the testing platform" run by Data Recognition Corporation. The statement went on to say the issue was resolved in about 40 minutes.

"If standardized assessments are disrupted for any reason, PDE works closely with affected schools to ensure that students have ample opportunity to complete their assessments," the statement said.

KDKA reached out to the Data Recognition Corporation for more details on what happened, but the company said to contact the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

Some districts started testing on Monday, while others started on Tuesday. Williams believes it was an overload of the system due to everyone being online. She said once some districts dropped off, their connectivity picked up.

Ahead of the NFL draft in Pittsburgh, law enforcement and community advocates are working to raise awareness about the increased risks of sexual violence and human trafficking that they say can come with mass gatherings.

Pittsburgh Action Against Rape, a nonprofit that helps victims of sexual assault, is reminding people to look out for one another and speak up when something isn't right.

Gail Brown, the manager of education and prevention services with PAAR, says trafficking doesn't always look like what movies depict. It can start with what seems to be just an invitation to a party. She says red flags to look out for are promises of free drinks, meeting famous people or the urgency of a cool opportunity that's about to be missed.

She says traffickers often look to separate their targets, so it's crucial to look out for one another.

"Making sure that that group of folks, whoever you came with, you're leaving with, right?" Brown said. "We're not letting somebody go off saying, 'Oh, I met this person,' or 'This activity over here looks fun.' No, we came together, we're leaving together."

And watch out for strangers, too, Brown added.

"If you are in a space and you see somebody by themselves that looks a little confused, maybe they look a little intoxicated and they're alone, maybe asking them, 'Are you OK? Where are your friends?'" Brown said. "Connecting them with some staff that are around, because they may not trust you, but saying, 'Hey, let's see if we can connect you with security.'"

The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police said 11 of its officers, detectives and sergeants have completed specialized training to combat human trafficking. Police said trainees learned how to use an investigative tool to analyze online data, identify trafficking patterns and find victims.

PAAR has a 24/7 hotline you can call for help or advice at 1-866-END-RAPE. To get help from the National Human Trafficking Hotline, call 1-888-373-7888 or text HELP or INFO to BeFree at 233733.

A Pittsburgh Regional Transit plan could leave riders in Shaler Township without a way to get around. Now, riders and leaders in Shaler are trying to get the PRT to rethink their plan.

Part of the agency's so-called "Bus Line Refresh," transit officials would like to eliminate two lines in Shaler.

Residents say that while PRT thinks this is an economical option for the agency, it could have a dramatic effect on economic viability for commuters.

They seem to be just two of the thousands of Pittsburgh Regional Transit routes, but for many, the Route 2 Mt. Royal and the P13 Mt. Royal Flyer along Mount Royal Boulevard are critical.

"It's the most important bus line, quite honestly," rider Autumn Krohe said. "I can't get to work, I can't get my medications. I live in Shaler, and the only way to go to and from is the bus line."

Some of PRT's goals focus on improving reliability and service frequency. PRT says the reason for potential elimination is simple: low ridership.

"We sent a letter to the PRT board. We said, please, do not do this. We need this service for the community," said Shaler Township Commissioner Josh Fleitman. "We're all urging PRT to think creatively here. What could it look like to keep this line open?"

Smaller buses, adjusted schedules, and routes might work, according to proponents. For them, something is better than nothing.

"Historically, this route has played a critical role in connecting Shaler Township to the region," Fleitman said.

Proponents of keeping the routes say they're putting the pressure on to keep the buses rolling to and from this part of Shaler.

A PRT spokesperson reiterated that no cuts have been finalized. The agency is planning public hearings where riders can voice opposition to particular route cuts.

Once finalized, the Bus Line Refresh plan could see implementation in 2027.

Some Trader Joe's customers will receive a payout after the grocery chain reached a legal settlement over its privacy practices.

The case involves a 2019 class-action lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court by shopper Brian Keim, who alleged that receipts from Trader Joe's stores displayed the first six and last four digits of his credit card, increasing the risk of identity theft.

The original complaint was filed in Florida after Keim shopped at a Trader Joe's in Palm Beach Gardens. The case was later transferred to the Central District of California since the retailer is headquartered in Monrovia, Los Angeles County.

The federal Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA) includes a provision prohibiting businesses from printing more than the last five digits of a customer's credit or debit card number on any electronically printed receipt. The 2003 law also allows consumers to recover damages from businesses that fail to comply.

What is the Trader Joe's settlement?

Trader Joe's said it was unaware of any identity theft resulting from the receipts and did not admit any wrongdoing, noting that it chose to settle the lawsuit to avoid further litigation. In February, the company and the plaintiff reached a tentative $7.4 million settlement, which remains subject to final court approval.

A fairness hearing is scheduled for August, at which a judge will make a final determination on whether to approve the agreement.

Along with offering payments to the plaintiff and for attorneys' fees, the $7.4 million settlement fund will cover payments to people who shopped at Trader Joe's stores between March 5, 2019, and July 19, 2019, who submit valid claim forms. The company has stores in 42 states and Washington, D.C., most of them in California.

How much will eligible customers get under the settlement?

According to the settlement website tj-factasettlement.com, the share of the settlement fund depends on the number of valid claim forms submitted, but the final payment amount is estimated at $102.45 per claim.

Who is eligible to receive a Trader Joe's settlement payout?

Persons who shopped at Trader Joe's between March 5, 2019, and July 19, 2019, and who submit valid claim forms before the due date are eligible.

According to the settlement website, "Not all Trader Joe's stores printed receipts displaying the first six and last four digits of the card number, and in those stores that did, only a small minority of transactions involved such receipts."

How do you file a claim for a Trader Joe's settlement payout?

Shoppers who receive an email notice or a postcard with a claim identification number have been identified as members of the settlement class. Consumers who aren't sure whether they are included in the class can visit the settlement website to contact the claims administrator for more information.

Shoppers can file a claim by visiting the official settlement website and filling out an online form, or by downloading and printing a claim form to mail in. Claims can also be made by telephone by calling the settlement hotline at 888-444-7415. Shoppers can file a claim even if they don't have physical receipts.

When is the deadline to file a settlement claim?

The deadline to submit a claim for a Trader Joe's settlement payout is June 9. A court hearing for final approval of the settlement is scheduled for August 10.

In an update posted to Facebook, the nonprofit said USS 11 was "bright and alert" on Tuesday morning and is showing a healthy appetite, with trout as its favorite food.

The eaglet is gaining weight and has been moved to a spot where it can see and hear an adult bald eagle. The conservation center says if all continues to go well, the eaglet can be returned to its nest in the next week or so.

The Tamarack Wildlife Center, which helped coordinate USS 11's rescue, said it's a "relatively safe time" to return the eaglet because it and its siblings are young. The eaglet's return will be coordinated so there will be minimal disruption, and it's expected that the parents, Stella and Irvin, will accept the young bird.

The bird was removed from its nest with permission from the landowner as well as federal and state authorities after viewers of the livestream camera noticed USS 11 had ingested a fishhook on Saturday.

A team of arborists removed the eaglet, and less than 12 hours later, the eaglet received treatment at the Avian Conservation Center of Appalachia. The veterinarian wasn't able to remove the hook via endoscopy, so the eaglet underwent surgery, and the hook, along with the synthetic bait and fishing line that were still attached, was removed.

"Thank you so much to everyone involved in the rescue of the eaglet, and to the nest cam viewers who spotted the problem," the Avian Conservation Center of Appalachia said. "This eagle would not have survived with the hook and so much fishing line in its digestive tract."

The conservation center says it's a good reminder for fishers to clean up their lines and hooks.

No detail is too small when it comes to preparing Pittsburgh to host the NFL draft. That includes picking up trash and planting some greenery in our neighborhoods.

It's a kickoff for draft week, and over 50 volunteers, including Stacy Marinos, showed up in Pittsburgh's West End with trash bags in hand for the first community event of the NFL draft.

"You always leave things better than when you found them. So it's a win-win," Marinos said.

That win-win is part of an initiative Allegheny Cleanways started in September, months before the NFL draft began.

"It's great to be doing it now, to put a face on the community, maybe for out-of-town visitors so that they can see that we care about our community, we want to make it look great, we're proud of our community," Marinos said.

City pride and appreciation fill the air with these volunteers from the community, which include Friends of the Riverfront, Allegheny Cleanways, and members of the Steelers.

"I feel grateful for the opportunity to shine a spotlight on the work that Cleanways has been doing for 25 years," Allegheny Cleanways executive director Caily Grube said.

"Super grateful to Allegheny Cleanways. They launched the campaign for Immaculate Collection months before the draft to really make sure our city was ready to welcome so many visitors," Pittsburgh Steelers senior director of community relations Blayre Holmes Davis said.

Now that work is culminating in over 400 tons of trash collected off 50 highway miles for draft-related litter maintenance. It's teamwork worth applauding, with 60 more trees planted in Esplen.

"It's always a good day to plant a tree," Friends of the Riverfront executive director Kelsey Ripper said.

From trees in the ground to bags filled with trash, it's making Pittsburgh beautiful to show locals and visitors that Pittsburgh is loved and worthy of the national spotlight.

"We're excited to 'redd up' Pittsburgh to make it look beautiful to let people know that we care about our city and that they should come and enjoy the beauty that it has to offer," Ripper said.

Clean-up efforts with the Immaculate Collection will continue for two years after the NFL draft leaves Pittsburgh.

That fan has now sued the Pirates and the employee.

The lawsuit, filed in Allegheny County on behalf of Patrick Egan, alleges that during the fight, Egan suffered a concussion and facial injuries, including a chipped tooth, a bloody lip and more.

The incident began when Egan and his friend were accused of harassing a woman who worked at a concession stand. The game day employee, identified in the lawsuit as Raymond Stroud III, intervened in the situation.

In the lawsuit, Egan states that he was not involved in the altercation with the woman and that he did not harass her.

Bystanders and other employees tried to break up the fight, but within moments, Egan was seen spitting on Stroud. He then took off his belt and started hitting Egan.

Following the fight, the Pirates said Stroud's behavior was "entirely unacceptable," and he was immediately suspended. No charges were filed in the wake of the fight, police said last year.

Egan is seeking damages for assault, battery, negligence, and invasion of privacy.

The suit also alleges that the Pirates failed to release security surveillance video of the incident that would have shown that Egan did not harass the concession worker.

The Pirates told CBS News Pittsburgh it doesn't comment on pending litigation.

Five officers with the Penn Hills Police Department filed a civil lawsuit against the township and several of its leaders, alleging corruption and collusion.

The lawsuit, which is hundreds of pages, names the municipality of Penn Hills, its council, Mayor Pauline Calabrese and the Penn Hills Police Department Advisory Board.

Police Chief Jason Bonace is not named as a defendant, but the complaint argues civil service rules were violated to promote him from K-9 officer to police chief.

According to the lawsuit, the civil service rules state that a person must have spent five years as a supervisor and achieved the rank of lieutenant. The suit claims the council retroactively changed the rules to accommodate Bonace's promotion and goes on to say Bonace's actions created a hostile work environment.

The plaintiffs also allege the council agreed to implement an act allowing officers to reach 25 years of service sooner and retire with full benefits in exchange for the police advisory board agreeing to a 12-hour shift trial period of one year. The lawsuit claims everyone signed the agreement, but the act was never implemented.

The chief did not attend the council meeting on Monday, but Mayor Calabrese was there.

"I'm not surprised, but this is business as usual," Calabrese said. "I will just say we don't comment specifically on personnel matters. But I have confidence that our solicitor will respond, and there are two sides to every story."

The plaintiff's attorney, Kimberly Gompers, said she could not comment because of the ongoing litigation and the plaintiffs are all current employees. The defendants have 20 days to respond.

Over a violent 72 hours, shots rang out through multiple parts of Allegheny County. Pittsburgh City Councilman Khari Mosley, who represents the city's eastern neighborhoods, said there's been an uptick in violence.

"You have those early acts of violence happen earlier in the year. As the spring comes and as the summer comes, then you see acts of retaliation, so I think that's what we are really trying to get ahead of," Mosley explained.

There were shootings in Penn Hills, Bedford Dwellings, North Braddock and Homewood. The shootings in Bedford Dwellings and North Braddock were deadly. In all, 10 people were shot in four different shootings.

Mosley said he thinks part of the increase in violence includes the teen takeover social media trend, neighborhood squabbles and rap music. Now the councilman's district is putting together a District 9 safe streets program.

"Working with violence interrupters, working with Zone 5, working with the East Liberty Chamber of Commerce, and we're looking at launching that probably sometime in June or early June," Mosley said. "We look to expand that to different parts of the district as well as see if it's a model that other districts and other communities may want to replicate."

With the NFL draft now three days away, Pittsburgh Public Safety, Pittsburgh Public Schools, and community organizations are now focusing on young people. They want to ensure they stay safe and engaged during the draft.

Rowdy behavior across Downtown Pittsburgh has become somewhat common in recent times.

"We're seeing almost daily groups of 40 to 50 to 60 or 70 juveniles in space, being disorderly," said Lt. Robert Monticelli, supervisor of the Downtown Public Safety Center.

Monticelli said some of those young people have committed crimes as well, ranging from disorderly conduct to even robberies and aggravated assaults.

Ahead of the draft, Pittsburgh police and other organizations at a press conference Monday morning said they're not having any of it.

Chief Jason Lando said there is "zero tolerance" for behavior that undermines safety and enjoyment. He stressed that the draft is for young people as well, but that there will be repercussions for those acting out of line.

"These actions will not be ignored, and there will be consequences," Lando said.

Sheldon Williams, the director of Pittsburgh Public Safety, said the city's main goal is to have a "safe, enjoyable event," calling it "once-in-a-generation."

Parents should act as parents, guardians, and caretakers. Youth should use common sense and have common courtesy, Williams said.

Lando says officers will be out in significant numbers, along with outreach and community partners.

"We look at them as the first line of defense," Monticelli said. "They are out there, they come from the communities, they know these individuals."

Pittsburgh Public Schools' superintendent, Dr. Wayne Walters, said the district has taken a serious role in setting expectations for students as well, adding that PPS brought students to the district's central administration building for a pre-NFL draft conversation on student safety last week.

Walters said they are working to create a culture of safety, accountability, and community pride.

"What stood out most in that space was the voice of our students," Walters said. "They spoke about pride in their city. They spoke about responsibility. They spoke about their role in making sure this is a positive experience for everyone."
