What am I Seeing?
Some images just seem to need more explanation than others.
In our weekly series, we share images from the news that piqued our curiosity and raised questions.
Is that a kiss? They look sort of angry though. And there's a mask involved.

Anniversary of Sewol ferry disaster
South Korean protestors clash with riot police during a rally to commemorate the first anniversary of the Sewol ferry disaster in Seoul, April 18, 2015.
In the previous photos a protestor went nose to nose with a policeman as hundreds of protestors clashed with police when victims' families were prevented from marching to the president's residence.
What am I seeing?
It's definitely a dirty U.S. flag. Why?
Lincoln assassination
The presidential box, decorated identically to the way it was the night of U.S. President Abraham Lincoln's assassination in 1865, is seen at Ford's Theatre in Washington, March 31, 2015.
The flag in the previous photos shows blood stains from when Lincoln was shot.
The U.S. commemorated the 150th anniversary of President Abraham Lincoln's assassination.
What am I seeing?
What do you think he needs those giant claw like things for? Those women look a little scared.Wouldn't you be?
Sculptures
Girls look at a robot and a crocodile made from used car components, created by mechanic and welder Sergei Kulagin, at his exhibition in Russia's Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk, April 11, 2015.
Kulagin, who is an amateur artist, has created about one hundred sculptures made from used car parts in his free time and his exhibition opened April 13th.

Gajan festival

In the previous photo the boy was dressed as the Hindu god Bramha.
The Gajan festival falls on the last day of the Bengali calendar which also coincides with the birth of Lord Shiva, according to Hindu mythology.

A dance performance? Taking a walk in the fog?

What am I seeing?
Liking the big eyes. It doesn't look like the most comfortable hang out spot though.
Bisket festival
The chariot of God Bhairab is pulled through the city center of Bhaktapur near Kathmandu during the Bisket festival, April 10, 2015.
The festival, which runs for more than a week and coincides with the Nepalese New Year, involves devotees offering prayers and the pulling of two chariots, one carrying the idol of God Bhairab and the other with the idol of Goddess Bhadrakali, around the ancient city of Bhaktapur. Devotees participate in the festival with the belief that they will be blessed with good health, fortune and harvest for the coming year.
What am I seeing?
We give the photographer credit for an interesting juxtaposition that raises questions.

So the guy in the center is scary-looking, but those weapons look plastic.
Songkran

The Songkran festival, marking the traditional Thai New Year, is celebrated each year from April 13 to 15. The throwing of water was traditionally a sign of respect and well wishing during the festival.
