Curtis, 85, died on Sept. 29 at his home in Henderson, Nev., after suffering cardiac arrest. Curtis was best known for appearing in "Some Like It Hot" with Marilyn Monroe and Jack Lemmon and in 1960s award-winning "Spartacus." He was nominated for an Oscar in 1959 for "The Defiant Ones" with Sidney Poitier.
