Oscar winner Halle Berry was picked as the worst actress for 2004's action bomb "Catwoman," which also took the prize for worst film at the 25th annual Razzies, an Oscar spoof that trashes Hollywood's lowpoints. "Catwoman" led the field with seven nominations and won four awards.
"Catwoman" supporting players Sharon Stone, pictured here at the film's June 2004 premiere, and Lambert Wilson were also up for Razzies. The film was also was nominated for worst screen couple, for Halle Berry with either Stone or co-star Benjamin Bratt.
The historical bomb "Alexander" came in second with six Razzie nominations, including worst picture, worst director, for Oliver Stone, and worst acting nods for Colin Farrell, Angelina Jolie and Val Kilmer.
The other worst picture contenders were the family action comedy "Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2" (pictured), the holiday debacle "Surviving Christmas" and the cross-dressing comedy "White Chicks." "Superbabies" also netted Jon Voight a worst supporting actor nod.
President George W. Bush and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld received worst acting honors for their appearances in news and archival footage in Michael Moore's documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11." Mr. Bush was named worst actor and Donald Rumsfeld won for worst supporting actor. Condoleeza Rice, who got a nod for worst supporting actress, lost to Britney Spears. Both women appeared in the film.
A worst actor nomination went out to Ben Stiller for multiple roles: "Along Came Polly," "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story," "Envy" and "Starsky & Hutch."
Also in the worst actor category were Ben Affleck, pictured, for "Jersey Girl" and "Surviving Christmas," and Vin Diesel, for "The Chronicles of Riddick."
Hilary Duff was another worst actress contender, for "A Cinderella Story" and "Raise Your Voice."
Two pairs of siblings rounded out the worst actress category: Shawn and Marlon Wayans, who play federal agents in drag in "White Chicks" (pictured), and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, for "New York Minute."
The Olsen twins, pictured, and the Wayans brothers also had nominations as worst screen couples.
California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger was chosen worst Razzie loser of the first 25 years, a special prize given to actors who had received the most nominations without ever winning a Razzie. His latest loss was to Donald Rumsfeld in the worst supporting actor category, in which Schwarzenegger was nominated for "Around the World in 80 Days."
