Kobe Bryant and his lawyer Pamela Mackey arrive at court in 2004. Bryant was accused in 2003 of sexualy assaulting a hotel employee at a Colorado hotel. He admitted an adulterous sexual encounter with his accuser, but denied the sexual assault allegation. In September 2004, prosecutors dropped the case after the accuser was unwilling to testify. She brought a separate civil suit that was ultimately settled out of court.
Cynthia Rodriguez, who married A-Rod in 2002, says she ended their marriage in July 2008 because of the Yankee third baseman's extramarital affairs. A-Rod has been linked to Sofia Vergara, Joslyn Noel Morse, and Madonna.
The then-Knicks coach and Madison Square Garden were sued for sexual harassment and retaliation by Anucha Browne Sanders in October 2006. In September 2007 a jury detemined that Thomas made demeaning statements to Sanders, as well as making sexual advances. MSG was ordered to pay Browne Sanders $11.6 million. Thomas continued to maintain his innocence after the ruling.
Then-NBC sportscaster Marv Albert after being booked in Virginia, Wednesday May 28, 1997, on assault and forcible sodomy charges of biting a former lover. NBC fired Albert in 1997 after he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault charges, while the sodomy charge was dropped. NBC brought Albert back less than two years later.
Roger Clemens & Mindy McCready
The New York Daily News reported Clemens and country star Mindy McCready had a decade-long relationship that began when she was a 15-year-old aspiring singer and the pitcher was a Boston Red Sox ace. Clemens denies any sexual relationship and calls McCready a "close family friend." For her part, McCready said, "I cannot refute anything in the story." Reports of several other extramarital relationships also surfaced.
A former beverage manager at the Hard Rock Hotel sued Dennis Rodman, claiming the ex-NBA star assaulted her in March 2006 by rubbing against her body and slapping her on the buttocks. Prior to that, Rodman was sued by a cocktail waitress in 1998 who claimed he jammed a $100 bill down her blouse and grabbed her breast.
In 2004, Rebecca Loos, Becks' former personal assistant, reportedly said that an affair with the soccer star left her "breathless" and "very happy." Sarah Marbeck, a model who also claimed an affair with Beckham, was described in The Sun as "a high-class hooker." Wife Victoria Beckham says her husband has always been faithful to her.
Quarterback Daunte Culpepper was cleared of misdemeanor charges stemming from a boat-party sex scandal. He was one of four Minnesota Vikings accused of misdemeanor lewd conduct during a cruise in the fall of 2005. Culpepper has since been traded to the Miami Dolphins.

Federal investigators say Gold Club owner Steve Kaplan and six associates diverted millions from the club's cash flow to buy protection from the Gambino family, provided prostitutes for big-name athletes, including Patrick Ewing and Andruw Jones, and bilked customers by overbilling their credit cards.
Tyson was convicted of raping former beauty pageant contestant Desiree Washington in an Indianapolis hotel room in 1991. He was sentenced to six years in prison and served three years before being released on parole. He has faced charges and allegations for numerous offenses on several occasions since.
