Selma march anniversary

The walk commemorated the 50th anniversary of the historic 'Bloody Sunday' march at the bridge, where police and state troopers beat and used tear gas against peaceful marchers, advocating against racial discrimination and for voting rights.

Myanmar protest

Argentine plane crash

On Tuesday, France mourned the deaths of three sports stars who were among 10 people killed when the two helicopters collided during the filming of a reality TV show. Investigators removed the bodies of Olympic swimmer Camille Muffat, yachtswoman Florence Arthaud and boxer Alexis Vastine from the charred wreckage.
