Peter Steele, front man for Type O Negative, died the night of April 14, 2010. In an email, Mike Renault, the band's manager, told CBS News, "Peter passed away last night. As of now it appears to have been heart failure. That's all the details we have right now."

In addition to Type O Negative, Peter Steele played in rock acts Fallout and Carnivore. Type O released seven studio albums, according to MTV, including 2007's "Dead Again."
