Cat lovers gathered at New York's historic Algonquin Hotel for a purr-fectly lovely evening on Aug. 7, 2013.

"Cats in Fashion," a charity event to benefit pet welfare organization Bideawee featured feline models sporting custom outfits created by pet fashion designer Ada Nieves. The pieces featured in the collection had a literary theme, inspired by the Algonquin's history as a meeting place for writers.
