"The Lovely Bones"
Mark Wahlberg, being watched by Saoirse Ronan, his slain daughter. Peter Jackson brings us "The Lovely Bones," an adaptation of Alice Sebold's novel about a girl who watches over her family from heaven after being murdered.
"Nine"
Daniel Day-Lewis watches Kate Hudson, who plays the role of a fashion journalist. The musical, based on the Broadway adaptation of Federico Fellini's foreign language classic "8 1/2," follows the life of a filmmaker (Day-Lewis) and his many women.
"Old Dogs"
In "Old Dogs" a divorced man (Robin Williams) enlists his womanizing business partner (John Travolta) to help care for twin kids he never knew he had.
"The Princess and the Frog"
Disney's "The Princess and the Frog" is a fairy tale, featuring Disney's first African American princess, set on the jazzy Louisiana bayou. Disney goes back to its roots with its first hand-drawn cartoon in five years.
"Disney's A Christmas Carol"
Jim Carrey plays Ebenezer Scrooge in the latest adaptation of "A Christmas Carol." Based on the classic Charles Dickens novel, Scrooge is visited by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come (all also played by Carrey) to teach him the meaning of the holiday season.
"The Road"

"The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus"
A mysterious stranger (Heath Ledger) helps an immortal Eastern mystic try to save his daughter from becoming the prize in a bet with the Devil in Terry Gilliam's "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus." After Ledger's tragic death midway through filming, Gilliam enlisted Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law to complete the late actor's "magic mirror" sequences, rescuing Ledger's bold and touching performance.
"Invictus"
Clint Eastwood directed this true story of how South African President Nelson Mandela (Morgan Freeman) sought to unify the racially- and economically-divided country by enlisting the nation's rugby team to pursue the 1995 World Cup Championship. Matt Damon co-stars as Francois Pienaar, captain of the team.
