Nine boys, many of whom were either experimenting with drugs or had dropped out of school, live at the group home, where school attendance and homework are mandatory. City Without Drugs is a well-known narcotics treatment program in Russia founded by Yevgeny Roizman, who was elected mayor of Yekaterinburg in September 2013.
Svetlana, who comes from Perm, Russia, is 22 and addicted to heroin.
