The Bayou La France area of coastal Mississippi, near the town of Pearlington, saw wind speeds of 70 mph during hurricane Gustav on Monday, Sept. 1, just barely hurricane level, and thankfully for the people of the area the damage was limited.
The FEMA temporary housing units still in the area did not do as well.
This trailer, flipped upside down with its pieces flug everywhere shows just how strong hurricane winds can be.
Resident and emergency responder Jesse Fineran sent this series of pictures to CBS News.
The photos were taken early Tuesday (Sept. 1) after the storm and no one was injured.
The FEMA trailers pictured here did not fare quite so well and the images provide a chilling lesson in what can happen to a temporary housing unit in even a Category 1 hurricane.
