The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and its Canadian counterpart, Health Canada, say Fisher-Price, the giant toy manufacturer, is voluntarily recalling some 10.1 million potentially dangerous toys and high chairs.
One of those items is the Baby Gymtastics Play Wall sold for $68 at stores from April 2005 to January 2007.

About seven million trikes like this one were sold in the U.S. The trikes are being recalled because the CPSC says a child can strike, sit or fall on the protruding plastic ignition key, which could cause serious injury, including genital bleeding.

The CPSC says it and Fisher-Price are aware of 10 reports of incidents resulting in injury with trikes like this one. Six of the incidents required medical attention after young girls, ages 2 to 3 years old, fell against or on the protruding disc-shaped and D-shaped pretend key.

The Close to Me High Chair is being recalled due to what the CPSC says is a laceration hazard from the pegs on the rear legs that are used for the high chair's tray storage. For more information on this model, go to the CPSC release.

The Easy Clean High Chair is one of three models of high chairs recalled by Fisher- Price.
According to the CPSC, children can fall on or against the pegs on the rear legs of the high chair, resulting in injuries or lacerations. The pegs are used for high chair tray storage. The CPSC and Fisher-Price say they are aware of 14 reports of incidents, including seven reports of children requiring stitches and one tooth injury. One of these incidents was reported in Canada.

The Ocean Wonders Kick & Crawl Aquarium sold for $36 from June 2005 to March 2008. This toy has inflatable balls that the CPSC says poses a choking hazard for babies.

Sold at stores nationwide from April 2010 through September 2010 for about $45, the Mexico-made Little People Wheelies Stand 'n Play Rampway, the CPSC says, poses a choking hazard for kids if the wheels fall off the cars included in the set.
