Laila Ali, a daughter of boxing legend Muhammad Ali and a world boxing champion in her own right, was partnered with Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Gracious in defeat, she called both Ohno and Fatone "great."

Judge Len Goodman told John Ratzenberger that "of all the older gentlemen dancers we have had on the show, you are the best mover." Indeed, the former "Cheers" star and his partner Edyta Sliwinska, lasted long enough to be one of the six final contestants.

Heather Mills was billed as the first contestant to compete on the show with an artificial limb. She did an excellent job considering the limitation, although she did fall at the end of one routine because of it.
Clyde Drexler - Eliminated April 17

NBA great Clyde "the Glide" Drexler wasn't able to live up to his nickname on the dance floor. Drexler is more than a foot taller than his partner -- a physical difference that even a seasoned dancer would find challenging. Nevertheless, Drexler won the affection of the audience and the judges with his laid-back charm.
Leeza Gibbons - Eliminated April 10

The former host of "Entertainment Tonight," "Extra" and the daytime talk show "Leeza" currently hosts a nationally syndicated radio program called "Hollywood Confidential." She also is the founder of the Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation.
Shandi Finnessey - Eliminated April 3

Shandi Finnessey, crowned Miss USA in 2004, is the host of two game shows on the Game Show Network: "Lingo with Chuck Woolery" and "Playmania." Paulina Porizkova - Eliminated March 28

Though the judges' combined scores of the first two weeks put them in 6th place, Porizkova and her partner, Alec Mazo, were the first couple to be eliminated from the contest.
As the former face of Estee Lauder, Porizkova was once the highest paid supermodel in the world of fashion. This spring, Porizkova releases her first work of fiction, "A Model Summer."
