A handful of high-profile celebrities, like David Hasselhoff, Bristol Palin, Michael Bolton, and Mike "The Situtation" Sorrentino, will soon show off their dancing skills as Season 11 of "Dancing with the Stars" premieres on Sept. 20. But, who are the stars that passed on the opportunity to cha-cha-cha in front of the entire nation?
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg is one of the many celebs that producers were unable to secure for the upcoming edition of the dancing reality show.

Veteran action star Sylvester Stallone was reportedly courted to join the upcoming edition of "Dancing with the Stars" by show producers, but nixed the idea of appearing on the reality show for unknown reasons. "We've approached a lot of people over the years," Conrad Green, the show's executive producer, told The Hollywood Reporter. "People say no for a variety of reasons. Some people like the show but think they suck at dancing. It's a lot easier to say no than it is to say yes."

Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is among the list of high-profile celebrities who rejected the offer to appear on Season 11 of "Dancing with the Stars," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

A "Dancing with the Stars" casting source told The Hollywood Reporter that the stars make an initial $125,000 just for signing. But the generous paycheck didn't reel in Tim Allen. According to THR, the funnyman was approached to appear on Season 11, but he declined the offer for unknown reasons.
A rep for Allen told E! Online that the actor was never asked to appear on the show.

Political commentator Ann Coulter also reportedly passed on the current season of the reality competition series. The show's ultra-strict rehearsal schedule could possibly be one of the reasons Coulter rejected the offer. "Initially, they rehearse six hours a day, every day," a "Dancing with the Stars" production source told The Hollywood Reporter. "Then it moves to eight hours a day. If they don't comply with the entire schedule, the network will deduct it from their paycheck."

Suzanne Somers is another former sitcom star "Dancing with the Stars" producers wanted to appear on Season 11. Somers' manager confirmed to E! News that the former "Three's Company" actress "did turn it down, but only because she is too busy."

The real Erin Brockovich reportedly shot down the offer to go after the mirrorball trophy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Kristie Alley is among the stars that declined to join the Season 11 cast of "Dancing with the Stars," according to The Hollywood Reporter. The former "Cheers" star confirmed the report on her Twitter account and wrote "Not doing DWTS this season. Way too chicken!! Maybe next season if I'm invited again!!!"

The Hollywood Reporter article also claims that billionaire businessman Richard Branson turned down a spot on the latest series of "Dancing with the Stars."

The same Hollywood Reporter article claimed that Joel McHale also passed on the chance to join the cast of "Dancing With the Stars" Season 11. But "The Soup" host's rep dismissed the report and told E! Online that he was never asked. "It is 100 percent false that he was offered a spot on this year's show," his rep said.

"The Price is Right" host Drew Carey was reportedly given the chance to show off his dance moves on television, but passed on the offer to appear on Season 11 of "Dancing with the Stars."

Rejections can go both ways. The Hollywood Reporter claims that stars will sometimes lobby themselves to get on the show, like Melissa Joan Hart (who was successful and appeared on Season 9 of the dancing competition). According to a casting source, Melanie Griffith is consistently denied the chance to Rumba on the dance floor. "Melanie Griffith tries to get on every season," the source said.
