Cambodian models train for the camera
Having started in August 2010 with only three models, the Sun Model Agency and School is starting to make an impact in the fashion industry in Cambodia.

In 2013 alone, Sun Model models have participated in more than 100 shows, including contests and shows in South Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand.

After undergoing two hours of training per day, five days a week, aspiring models are typically ready to participate in modeling shows after a month and a half of training.

In a country where the fashion industry is relatively new and where opportunities to pursue full-time professional modeling careers are still limited, most of the models have to take on second jobs in fields unrelated to modeling in order to make a living.
