Traveler arrives for Spirit Airlines flight, learns the company has shut down
There is plenty of confusion among Spirit Airlines travelers with bookings after the company shut down early on Saturday morning. Traveler Yash Kothari arrived at Philadelphia International Airport for an early morning flight only to find out he had missed the 1 a.m. announcement from Spirit that the airline was shutting down after 34 years in business.
