Philadelphia police, city workers clear encampments along Kensington Avenue
Metal barriers blocked off Kensington Avenue near Allegheny Avenue in Philadelphia as workers cleared tents, dirt and debris from the sidewalks. But in terms of the homeless population the operation is targeting, it appears those people have been pushed to the side streets off Kensington Avenue without a permanent solution in place.
