Man arrested for threat to burn down Gov. Josh Shapiro's home, police say
Pennsylvania State Police say Richard Franklin was arrested and charged with terroristic threats and other offenses after making a threat of arson to the Pennsylvania Governor's Mansion. The threat was not carried out, but in April 2025, a different man set fire to the home.
