On the morning of Dec. 14, 2012, 20 children and six educators were murdered at Sandy Hook Elementary by a young man using an AR-15 assault rifle.

Ten years ago, a shooter killed 20 first-graders and six educators.
Jones filed the requests Friday, saying Judge Barbara Bellis' pretrial rulings resulted in an unfair trial and "a substantial miscarriage of justice."
