Woman And Child Injured In Car Crash In East Mount Airy

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Authorities say a woman and an 11 year-old were taken to the hospital after a car crash in East Mount Airy.

It happened at the intersection of Thouron Avenue and Upsal Street around 11:30 pm Monday night.

Authorities say the 11 year-old suffered cuts to the face.

Both the child and the woman are in stable condition.
