PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Women dressed in costumes from "The Handmaid's Tale" protested Vice President Mike Pence's visit in Center City on Monday afternoon.
The women were dressed in red outside of The Union League where Pence is part of a private fundraising event for Rep. Lou Barletta, who is running for Senate in Pennsylvania. The red cloaks symbolize female suppression as the women are protesting in silence with their heads down.
