Former Reading Mayor Pleads Not Guilty To Federal Corruption Charges
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Former Reading Mayor Vaughn Spencer is free on $50,000 bail after pleading not guilty to federal corruption charges.
Spencer appeared at a Tuesday afternoon hearing in Philadelphia federal court.

Spencer was indicted last week, along with Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski and three alleged co-conspirators.
Spencer is charged with bribery and fraud for allegedly taking part in pay-to-play schemes.
US Could Face Shortage Of Pilots
Pawlowski pleaded not guilty to similar charges last week.
