Trash Pickup To Resume In Upper Darby On Monday After Coronavirus Scare
UPPER DARBY, Pa. (CBS) -- The mayor of Upper Darby says trash pickup will resume Monday in the township. Mayor Barbarann Keffer says a workforce made up of union workers and a private company will ensure continuity of service.
Township trash trucks that have been professionally sanitized will be used.
The mayor says township sanitation division employees will remain quarantined for two weeks.
Recycling collection is set to resume the week of Aug. 24.
