Is Trading Sam Bradford Still Possible?
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Would the Eagles actually trade the quarterback they just re-signed to a two-year, $36 million deal? Probably not.
But, financially, it's possible.
According to a source of Mike Florio's via ProFootballTalk.com, the Eagles owe Bradford $5.5 million of his $11 million signing bonus by March 18th, 2016. The other $5.5 million is owed to the 28-year-old quarterback by September 1st. PFT reports trading Bradford and his $7 million 2016 base salary would give the Eagles a "net cap gain of $1.5 million" for this season.

Furthermore, the Eagles are reportedly expected to receive the No. 8 overall pick in the draft in a first-round pick swap from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for Byron Maxwell and Kiko Alonso.

So what if Jared Goff or -- maybe miraculously -- Carson Wentz is still on the board when the Eagles pick? Maybe they'd look to flip Bradford to a QB-needy team.
