Top Bars For March Madness In Philadelphia

The first round of March Madness starts March 17, with the championship game taking place April 6. Many diehard basketball fans and casual viewers alike get excited for this time of year and fill out a bracket in hopes of taking home a few extra dollars. With the many sports bars Philly has, you're sure to find an exciting one to watch some of the games in. See below for the top bars for March Madness.

BarLy is the only sports bar in Chinatown, and with its 22 televisions and 60 draft beers, it's a great place to watch college basketball, especially during the month of March. BarLy has a full menu of intercontinental bar food, perfect for the games. Sriracha wings, shanghai wings and salt and pepper rubbed wings are just a few of its wing variations and clams, burgers, cheesesteak spring rolls and dumplings are some of the other yummy food options. Great deals are found during its happy hour everyday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Cavanaugh's Headhouse is great for groups and private parties. In fact, five private rooms are available, as well as six different bars for your friends to hang around. With 12,000 square feet, more than 35 HDTVs and five distinct sound zones, finding a comfortable seat to watch a game is not difficult. Field House has 40 drafts available, all of which are brewed within a 100-mile radius. Its menu is made for game day – think porter braised short ribs, field house wings and pizzas.

Sto's has a multitude of entertainment options, including arcade games, shuffleboard, Xbox, Nintendo 64 and cornhole. Great drink specials are held throughout the week, including $3 Rolling Rock drafts, $8 Rolling Rock pitchers and $10 Walt Wit pitchers. Food options include burgers, nachos, jumbo wings, tacos and flatbread pizzas, but its main food attraction is its fries. They come in many varieties, like Belgian fries, smoking Parm fries and Spanish fries.
