Three Injured In West Philadelphia Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Three men have been injured in a reported triple shooting.

According to Police, the shooting occurred on the 100 block of South 55th Street around 9:30 A.M. Saturday morning.

Police say around 8 a.m. Saturday morning, a 21-year-old female, along with her 19-year-old neighbor, 16-year-old brother and two year old daughter went to a store. As they were leaving she was confronted by an ex boyfriend who was asking for money.

Police say they then got into a verbal argument. She then got back into the car with her neighbor, daughter and brother and they went back toward their home on the 100 block of south 55th. They got out of the car and her ex boyfriend was now with three other males.

One victim was shot in the midsection and was taken to the hospital in critical/stable condition.

A second victim was shot in the leg, and a third was shot in the groin and hip. Both were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Police report that arrests have been made and weapons were recovered.
