Third Time Still a Charm
Congrats to Spring Ford CC head professional Rich Steinmetz, winner of the Philadelphia PGA Professional Championship. It marked the third time that Steinmetz has won the Section Championship, and he says it "definitely gets more exciting each time."
Steinmetz takes home a first place prize of $7,000 and earns a spot in the in the 45th PGA Professional National Championship, June 24-27, 2012, at Bayonet Black Horse in Seaside, Calif. He'll be joined there by ten other professionals from the Philadelphia Section, including runner up Stu Ingraham of M Golf. He finished one shot back.
