Temporary Grant Program May Help Philadelphians With Past-Due Water Bills
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Help may be on the way for some in Philadelphia with delinquent water bills.
The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services has a temporary grant program for low-income households that need assistance.
Philadelphia Water Department customers who are eligible may be able to get up to $5,000 toward their delinquent bills.
Applications for assistance are being accepted now on the state Department of Human Service's website.
