Study: Americans Would Take Pay Cut If They Could Work From Home
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Would you take a pay cut if you could work from home?
If so, you're not alone.
According to a new study from Harvard and Princeton researchers, American workers on average would take an 8 percent pay cut if they could work from home.
The study says some are even willing to part with 21 percent of their pay.
The poll finds only 9 percent of U.S. workers have the work from home option.
Researchers say women, particularly those with young children, have higher a willingness for a work from home option and
to avoid employer scheduling discretion.
