Steven Mnuchin Is Trump's Pick For Treasury Secretary
NEW YORK, NEW YORK (CNN) -- Steven Mnuchin, a former Goldman Sachs partner and finance chairman of Donald Trump's presidential campaign, will be nominated to be Treasury secretary, according to an official briefed on the decision.
Mnuchin, who has been one of Trump's closest economic advisers throughout the campaign and during the transition process, will be announced as the President-elect's choice as economic point man as soon as Wednesday, the official said.
