Sixers Sign Justin Holiday, Waive Pargo
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Sixers have signed guard/forward Justin Holiday for the remainder of the season, and waived point guard Jeremy Pargo, the team announced on Monday.
Justin Holiday, who will turn 24 years-old this week and is the older brother of Sixers All-Star point guard Jrue Holiday, was on the Sixers' Summer League team prior to the season. Holiday played at the University of Washington, and spent this season with the Idaho Stampede of the NBA Development League.
The 6'6" Holiday averaged 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and a 2.3 assists per game this year in the D-League.
In 14 games with the Sixers, Pargo averaged 4.9 points and 2.0 assists per game.
