Sixers Draft Pick Jordan McRae Shines For 87ers

By Ray Boyd

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Sixers 2014 draft pick Jordan McRae spent most of the past basketball season in Australia where he starred for Melbourne United of the NBL. When his season ended down under, McRae brought his talents to the Sixers' NBDL affiliate, the Delaware 87ers.

McRae had his breakout performance on Sunday as he scored a career-high 39 points against the Oklahoma City Blue.

The Tennesse product has been showing off his scoring prowess ever since appearing in Summer League games with the Sixers. McRae went off the radar for most followers of the team when the season opened and he was bound for Australia.

His performance on Sunday night should have fans paying attention to him once again.

McRae not only scored a team-high 39 points. He also added a team-leading 13 rebounds to go along with six assists.

He was 13-23 shooting on the night and knocked down four of the seven three-pointers he attempted on the evening.

McRae's performance did come in a losing effort as the Blue topped the 87ers, 124-120 in overtime.

You can check out McRae's stellar performance below. Perhaps next season we will see him doing similar things with "Sixers," across his chest.
