Police: 1 Dead After Shooting In West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a murder in West Philadelphia Wednesday afternoon.

Police say it happened in the 1200 block of Redfield Street just after 2 p.m., when the victim was shot once in the right shoulder.

He was was transported to Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later, according to police.

No word on his age, or a possible motive.
