PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Among the speakers on hand for the Democratic National Convention was actress and comedian Sarah Silverman.
Joined by Senator Al Franken, Silverman was on stage to voice her support for presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.
Silverman expressed that she was in support of Senator Bernie Sanders, but made it clear that now she wants to see Clinton in the White House.
"I am proud to be a part of Bernie's movement and a vital part of that movement is making absolutely sure that Hillary Clinton is our next President of the United States," Silverman said.
Silverman and Franken were then asked to stretch their joint speech in preparation to introduce singer Paul Simon when Silverman decided to address Sanders supporters who continued to voice their displeasure with him not becoming the party's candidate.
"To the Bernie or bust people, you're being ridiculous," she said.
