Roy Halladay and the Phillies Dominate the Marlins
Roy Halladay threw 7 innings giving up just 1 run while K'ing 9 Marlins, as the Phils blasted the Marlins 6-1 in South Florida. Ben Francisco and Carlos Ruiz went back to back in the 2nd to give the Phils a 2-0 lead, and the Phillies took advantage of sloppy play to get a convincing win. Francisco and Ruiz combined for a 7-10 night with 3 RBI's, as Ruiz put up his 2nd 4-hit game of the season. Halladay helped his own cause in the 4th by driving 2 runs in with a bases loaded single, Chad Durbin pitched 2 scoreless innings to close it out.
