Researchers: Too Much Sitting Can Increase Risk For Heart Disease & Diabetes

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – You may want to stand up for this… There is new information on the threat posed by too much sitting.

The American Heart Association warns that too much down time between physical activity can impact heart and blood vessels.

The new findings show that sedentary behavior may be linked to a higher risk of developing diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

Researchers suggest sitting less and moving more.
