Report: Eagles Sign Miles Austin To One-Year Deal
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Eagles have agreed to terms on a contract with free agent wide receiver Miles Austin.
Austin, 30, played the first eight seasons of his NFL career with the Cowboys after being signed in 2006 as undrafted free-agent, before joining the Cleveland Browns last season. Austin's best season came in 2009, when he caught 81 balls for 1,320 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Austin (6'2", 216-pounds) amassed 900-yards receiving three times and 1,000-yards receiving twice during his career. The two-time Pro Bowl wide out caught 47 passes for 586 yards in 12 games with the Browns in 2014.
