Giants CB Prince Amukamara Out 2-4 Weeks

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The New York Giants, who were already dealing with injury problems leading up to their critical Monday Night matchup at the Philadelphia Eagles, have received some more bad news.

Giants head coach Tom Coughlin confirmed the report that Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara will miss two to four weeks with a partial tear in his pectoral area.

The Giants will turn to their 2012 third-round draft pick 25-year-old Jayron Hosley. Hosley has one career interception in 10 career NFL starts and 34 games played.

The Giants are last in the NFL allowing 304 passing yards per game through five games.

On the offensive side of the bar, Giants star WR Odell Beckham Jr. suffered a hamstring injury in Week 5 against the 49ers. On Wednesday, reported that Beckham "has swelling in his hamstring," although he still hopes to play.

Opposite of Beckham, the Giants' other outside WR Reuben Randle also suffered a hamstring injury last week and his status is also unknown.
