Report: Eagles Will Listen To DeMarco Murray Trade Offers
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- DeMarco Murray apparently wants out of Philadelphia.
Murray, according to the NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, is "still not happy" in Philly. Furthermore, Rapoport says the Eagles will listen to trade offers for the veteran running back.
But, wait. There's more! Rapoport indicates Murray wants to go back to his old team.
The Eagles signed Murray to a five-year deal worth $40 million, $18 million guaranteed, last offseason. Murray has an $8 million 2016 cap hit. If released, he will cost the Eagles $13 million in dead money.
Murray, 28, struggled last season -- his first with the Eagles -- running for just 702 yards and six touchdowns on 193 carries.
